Why Partnerships Matter

Partnerships are central to how we grow our impact. As a Community Interest Company, our role is not only to deliver our own programmes but to work alongside others who share our values of safety, prevention, and wellbeing. By building partnerships, we can extend our reach, avoid duplication, and create stronger outcomes for the communities we serve.

We believe that prevention of harm and safety before profit cannot be achieved in isolation — it requires collaboration across employers, regulators, charities, and community organisations.

Who We Aim to Work With

We are open to work with partners who share our commitment to prevention, accountability, and public good. These may include:

  • Employers and industry bodies who want to raise competency standards across their workforce and supply chains.
  • Public services and councils seeking to improve compliance, safety, and wellbeing within their communities.
  • Regulators and education providers who want transparent, evidence-based competency frameworks.
  • Charities and community groups delivering services that support resilience, dignity, and inclusion.

All partnerships must align with our six values: Safety · Security · Sustainability · Competence · Skills · Wellbeing.”

Express Interest in Partnering

How Partnerships Create Impact

Partnerships strengthen our ability to deliver measurable community benefit. Working together means:

  • Wider access – partners help us bring the SSS Competency Passport and related tools into more workplaces, schools, and community settings.
  • Shared responsibility – collaboration ensures that prevention of harm is embedded at every stage, from training through to compliance.
  • Greater accountability – partnerships reinforce safety before profit and make standards transparent.
  • Efficient reinvestment – by joining forces, we can channel surpluses and resources into initiatives that achieve more than any one organisation could alone.

Through partnership, our collective impact is greater than the sum of its parts.

Our Principles for Partnership

We are clear about what partnership means to us. Any organisation we work with must share our principles:

  • Transparency – activities, funding, and outcomes must be open and accountable.
  • Shared values – safety, security, sustainability, competence, skills, and wellbeing guide every collaboration.
  • Measurable outcomes – partnerships must demonstrate real, lasting community benefit.
  • Prevention focus – partners must be committed to reducing harm before it occurs, not reacting after the fact.

These principles ensure that every partnership strengthens public benefit and builds trust.

Transparency

All active partnerships will be published openly in our CIC Annual Report and Accounts, confirming who we work with and how those relationships contribute to community benefit. This commitment to transparency ensures that regulators, funders, and the public can see clearly that our partnerships always serve the community and never private interests.
