Our Impact at a Glance

At SSSCSW CIC, our commitment is to place prevention of harm, mental health and wellbeing, safety before profit, and sustainability at the centre of everything we do.

We want every person — from teenagers at school, to families, to communities, to people in work and beyond — to feel supported, safe, and able to thrive. Our work focuses on:

  • Supporting mental health and emotional resilience.

  • Preventing avoidable harm in daily life, work, and community settings.

  • Building safer, healthier environments for young people and families.

  • Promoting sustainability by cutting waste and strengthening community resilience.

Who We Reach

Our impact spans the whole of society, across every stage of life.

Young people and families: Supporting teenagers at school age with wellbeing, safety awareness, and pathways into opportunity. Helping families build resilience and feel safe in their communities.

Communities: Backing local projects that reduce harm, improve wellbeing, and create sustainable futures for all generations.

People in work: Promoting safer workplaces, stronger accountability, and access to affordable tools and training that prevent harm and protect wellbeing.

Countries and the environment: Reducing waste, cutting carbon emissions, and supporting national Net Zero strategies through community-led sustainability projects.

How Change Happens

Change happens when prevention is placed at the heart of everything.
At SSSCSW CIC, our impact is built on four pillars:

  • Prevention — reducing risks before they cause harm, whether in schools, families, workplaces, or communities.
  • Safety — creating environments where people are protected, supported, and able to thrive.
  • Security — building trust, accountability, and resilience so individuals and communities feel safe and supported.
  • Sustainability — cutting waste, lowering carbon, and protecting resources for future generations.

By working through these four pillars, we move from a culture of reaction to a culture of prevention — making safety, wellbeing, and resilience part of everyday life.

Surplus Reinvestment

As a Community Interest Company, every surplus is reinvested directly into community benefit.

Our reinvestment priorities are guided by our core values of prevention of harm, wellbeing, and sustainability. Funds are directed to:

  • Mental health and wellbeing support for young people and families.
  • Community safety and harm-prevention initiatives.
  • Sustainability projects that reduce waste and strengthen resilience for future generations.

Every reinvestment decision is published openly in our CIC Report and Accounts, providing full transparency, accountability, and assurance to regulators, funders, and the public. Surpluses are never taken as private profit — they are always used to deliver measurable public good.

Transparency and Reports

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and regulation.

Our governance documents will be publicly available and include:

  • CIC Annual Report

  • Accounts

  • Policies

These provide clear evidence of our activities and confirm that surpluses are reinvested solely for community benefit.
